WINCHESTER, Va. - A Virginia student has just graduated from high school with a 4.028 GPA, but it's something he has never done throughout the 13 years of attending grade school that is even more impressive - he has never missed a day of school.
Trae Sine graduated from Millbrook High School in Winchester last Friday and has received a certificate each school year from kindergarten through 12th grade for his exemplary attendance. Sine also received a medal from Frederick County Public Schools with his name and "Exemplary Attendance K-12" engraved in it.
Apparently, outstanding attendance at school runs in the family. Sine's father, Tony, also never missed a day of grade school. Also, Sine's older brother, Tanner, missed only one day of school due to strep throat, according to the family.
