GIANT Food Stores announces recall of Dr. Praeger's California Veggie Burgers

CARLISLE, PA - GIANT Food Stores and MARTIN'S Food Markets have announced that they have removed Dr. Praeger's California Veggie Burgers following a recall.

According to a press release, the stores announced the removal after Dr. Praeger's Sensible Foods, Inc. recalled the burgers due to the potential of being contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes.

The following product is included in this recall:

Dr. Praeger's California Veggie Burger, 10 oz., UPC 8086800010, with best by dates of 1/27/18, 2/3/18, 2/9/18, 3/8/18, 3/23/18 & 4/13/18

GIANT/MARTIN'S say that they have not received reports of illnesses to date.

Customers who have purchased the product should throw away any unused portions and bring their receipt to GIANT/MARTIN'S for a full refund.
