Good Samaritans rescue driver after car plunges into Upper Merion pond
NORRISTOWN, Pa. (AP/WTXF) - Good Samaritans helped rescue a man who lost control of his car and ended up in an Upper Merion pond Monday.
A car ran off the road and into the water at Martin's Dam, prompting three bystanders to jump into the water and help pull the driver out.
The driver was brought to shore, and emergency responders transported him to a nearby hospital. He is expected to be okay.
The driver's identity has not been released.
