TAMPA, FL (WTXF) - A woman in Florida accused of shoplifted says an officer used excessive force when he arrested her.
The incident happened outside of Bealls department store in West Chapel, north of Tampa.
Police say Tiffany Tebo is accused of stealing goods. She allegedly resisted arrest and was taken to the pavement on Friday.
Now body camera footage from the Pasco County Sheriff released on Youtube shows the unidentified officer moving her against a wall and grabbing her by the arm before a slamming her to the ground.
The graphic video shows the officer pulling a weapon and pointing it at her as she pleads with him from the ground.
Tebo, 29, was then cuffed while covered in stains of her own blood.
Footage later shows the officer bringing a towel for Tebo which required stitches.
Tebo's combined bail was $105 for petit theft and resisting arrest, which are each misdemeanor and carry punishments of up to one year in prison and $1,000 fines.
