Gun fired during attempted morning carjacking in Port Richmond

PHILADELPHIA - Philadelphia police are investigating after Monday morning began with an attempted carjacking in Port Richmond.

Officers responded to Sepviva Street, blocking off the entire 3700 block around 7 a.m.

Police say a gun was fired, and several suspects were seen running from the scene.

It is still unclear if anyone was shot.
