NEW CASTLE, Del. (WTXF) - A New Castle, Delaware middle school will remain closed for a second day Wednesday after heating issues led to an early dismissal on Tuesday.
Gunning Bedford Middle School will remain closed on Wednesday as maintenance crews work to repair a failure in the building's heating system.
Students and staff were sent home at 10 a.m. Tuesday as crews continued to work on repairing the issue.
The school, which has 1,100 students, says parents will be updated on the school's status through internal communication and social media.
