Heart has postponed its Royal Flush Tour after the band’s lead singer, Ann Wilson, revealed she was diagnosed with cancer.

In a post on Instagram, Wilson said that she underwent an operation to remove "something" that turned out to be cancerous.

"The operation was successful and I’m feeling great, but doctors are now advising me to undergo a course of preventive chemotherapy and I’ve decided to do it," Wilson’s Instagram post read.

Wilson will be taking the rest of the year off to fully recover. She did not reveal what type of cancer with which she was diagnosed.

Fans who already purchased tickets were encouraged to keep them as the tour plans to resume in 2025.

More information about rescheduled dates will be announced in the coming weeks.

This was reported from Los Angeles.
