Heavy damage created in wake of vehicle crashing into Ogontz building

A building in the Ogontz neighborhood bore the brunt of a vehicle Saturday morning.

Philadelphia police say a vehicle crashed into the side of a rowhome early Saturday morning at the corner of Ogontz Avenue and Grange Avenue, creating heavy damage to the building.

The vehicle left a gaping hole in the side of the building and bricks littered the sidewalk in the aftermath. A light from the vehicle was found on the sidewalk, as well as a section of the vehicle's grill.

Police say no injuries were reported.
