Helicopter makes emergency landing on Philadelphia pier after fuel issue

PHILADELPHIA - A helicopter made an emergency landing in South Philadelphia early Friday morning. 

It happened on Pier 82, near Columbus Boulevard and Snyder Avenue – next to the SS United States - around 3:30 a.m. 

The four-seat helicopter had to make a hard landing on the pier after having a fuel issue. 

Flight tracking shows the helicopter was coming from New York City.

No injuries were reported.
