How car recalls get reported
The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) officially start car recalls after receiving complaints from consumers.
Honda has recalled more than 205,000 SUVs over a fuel leak issue, which could increase the risk of a fire.
Roughly 205,760 vehicles are under the recall, which was posted on the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration website. The recall involves certain 2023-2024 Passport and 2023-2025 Pilot vehicles.

The fuel filler neck tube and fuel filler pipe may separate, allowing fuel to leak, according to the NHTSA.
"A fuel leak in the presence of an ignition source increases the risk of a fire," the U.S. auto safety regulator said.

Dealers will inspect and repair the fuel filler neck tube and pipe as necessary for free, the notice said.
Owner notification letters were expected to be mailed on Jan. 6, 2025. Owners can also contact Honda customer service at 1-888-234-2138.
Honda's number for the recall is OKM.
