Houston police respond to more than 120 stranded motorists
The Houston Police Department responded to more than 120 calls for stranded motorists on Wednesday.
Around 2:40 p.m., the Houston Police Department said officers had responded to 127 calls.

Law enforcement officials encouraged motorists to stay off the roadways on Wednesday morning as several spots along streets and highways flooded across the Houston area.
Several flash flood warnings were in affect for area counties into the early afternoon. Some areas saw as much as 8" of rainfall.
