Montgomery County triple shooting under investigation

Police in Montgomery County are investigating a triple shooting in Lansdale, Pennsylvania. FOX 29's Shaynah Ferraira has the story.

Three people were injured in a triple shooting in Lansdale, Pennsylvania on Thursday night, according to police. 

Authorities say the shooting happened just before 10 p.m. on Hancock Street. 

According to police, two victims were transported to area hospitals and the third victim was transported by an ambulance to Abington Hospital. 

The victims appear to have sustained non-life-threatening injuries.

An initial investigation has revealed the three were walking west on West Mt. Vernon Street. A vehicle approached the men and began firing weapons, then sped off. The victims said they ran to West Hancock Street after the shooting. Police found spent shell casings on the unit block of West Mt. Vernon Street.

Officials say the investigation is thought to be connected to a shooting on West Fifth Street, in Lansdale, on June 6th. One of the victims in the triple shooting was a victim in the June 6th shooting.

Police are searching for the vehicle they believe is the suspect's car. It is believed to be a white 2008 Pontiac G6. The car will have damage to the driver's side front fender and door.

Lansdale police believe this is the suspect vehicle.

Further, Lansdale police are interested in identifying and speaking with the person in these photos.

The three men, aged 18, 19 and 21, are said to be uncooperative in the investigation. Police ask anyone with information to please contact police at 215-368-1801, or by anonymous tip, which can be done at crimetips@lansdalepd.org.
