iPhone Photography Award winners announced: See the stunning photos

From a boy meeting a shark in Tampa, Florida, to meditating monks in Cambodia, judges say this year’s iPhone Photography Award winners "are a powerful testament to the art of storytelling through photography."

Now in its 17th year, the annual competition started in 2007 when the original iPhone "first began to inspire, excite and engage users worldwide."

Thousands of photos were submitted from more than 140 countries worldwide.

Overall winners

Photographer of the year: Photographer of the Year went to Erin Brooks of the US. Her photo, "Boy Meets Shark," was taken in Tampa, Florida, on an iPhone 15 Pro Max.
