Princess Kate makes 1st appearance since diagnosis
Kate Middleton, Princess Catherine of Wales, made her first public appearance since her cancer diagnosis on Saturday at the Trooping the Colour celebration for her father-in-law, King Charles III. Since 2016, the princess has been the patron of the club that hosts the annual Grand Slam tournament.
Her ceremonial duties include handing out the winner’s trophies after the singles finals, although she was not on hand Saturday when Barbora Krejcikova defeated Jasmine Paolini for the women’s title.

Kate revealed in March that she has cancer and was undergoing chemotherapy.
Her health announcement came after a months-long disappearance from the public eye that sparked rumors and conspiracy theories about her whereabouts.
Her first public appearance since revealing her cancer diagnosis came last month during King Charles III’s birthday parade.
