Kylie Kelce sponsors student trip to Lincoln Financial Field in trip that nearly fell through

Penn Treaty School students say they created memories to last a lifetime on Thursday during a field trip at Lincoln Financial Field to tour the facilities.

However, this trip was in jeopardy just a few days ago. Their teacher, Bonnie Giberson, explained on a video posted to TikTok Monday there were financial barriers securing a school bus.

In the video she asks the community for help to reach a member of the Eagles organization saying in part, "Most of my students can’t afford to pay for the field trip, which is how I cover the cost of the bus and if I can’t figure something out by tomorrow, Tuesday, I have to cancel the field trip. I feel like someone on the Eagles has got to have access to a school bus."

That video was shared thousands of times, and just hours after it was posted Kylie Kelce responded asking for the school name.

In a second TikTok video, Giberson starts the video off by saying "The people’s princess has spoken."

"I get a call from the office. My secretary said it was a parent who wanted to pay for students who couldn’t afford it, so she put her through to me and when I asked who it was, she said it was Kylie," said Giberson. "For Philadelphia, I feel like the Kelce’s are a royal family and they’re just doing anything they can to provide for students especially, but really anyone in the community."

During the tour, students were fully engaged learning about the Eagle’s sustainability efforts, getting an inside look of the press room and even a special surprise waiting for them in the locker room.

The Eagles reached out to Brandon Graham who answered the call to meet the students during the tour. He gave the soon-to-be high school graduates words of advice, signed autographs and took pictures with them.

"We just want to show up for people because one day they’re going to have a choice to show up for somebody else and they’re going to remember how somebody else showed up for them, so hopefully they can see that message and continue to keep being who they are within this," said Graham, Eagles defensive end and 2024 nominee for the Walter Payton Man of the Year Award.

"It’s a one-time experience thing. I don’t think I’m going to forget. I’ll always remember, oh my last year in high school I went to the Eagles field," said Kailyn Pena.

The students finished the tour feeling gratitude for Kylie Kelce, the Eagles organization and most of all their teacher Miss Giberson.

"She’s always willing to help. She’s been helping me a lot with my senior dues and everything," said Dariel Gomez. "I like that she’s sassy. She matches my energy, and she deals with us. We’re a lot to deal with."
