Lansdale native hurt in New Orleans attack released from hospital, family says
PHILADELPHIA - One of the victims injured in the deadly New Orleans attack from Montgomery County is now out of the hospital, according to family.
Lansdale native, Ryan Quigly, was among those injured in the attack.
On Wednesday, his family confirmed to FOX 29 that he has been released from the hospital and is recovering from a broken leg.
Quigley graduated from Lansdale Catholic High School in 2016 and graduated from Princeton University in 2020 where he also played football.
Quigley’s former Princeton teammate Tiger Bech, 28, was identified by hospital officials in New Orleans as a victim of the early morning attack on New Year's Eve revelers who were celebrating on Bourbon Street.
A GoFundMe campaign to support Quigley's recovery and honor Bech's memory quickly raised close to $80k.
