Man, 19, accused of knife-point sexual assault in bathroom

A teen in Wisconsin was pictured crying in his mug shot after his alleged threats to cut and sexually assault a woman with his pants down led to an arrest, according to the Daily Mail.

The husband of the victim told the police that 19-year-old Anthony J. Zingale tried to sexually assault his wife in the bathroom of their home during a party they were hosting.

The victim told the police that the teenager walked in on her in the bathroom completely exposed from the waist down with a knife in his hand, according to the Sheboygan Press. She also said Zingale, "pressed the knife to her neck and threatened to cut her if she didn't have sex with him."

The victim was terrified, but fortunately they were able to get out of the bathroom when she tricked him by offering to go to a bedroom. After leaving the bathroom, people came to her aid when she started screaming for help.

Zingale was very cooperative when the police arrived by putting his hands behind his back to be arrested.

The teen gave various versions of the story, but acknowledged that he had been drinking underage. Zingale told police that his mother was also at the house party during the alleged attack that occurred on May 28 at 10:30 p.m.

According to Zingale's side of the story reported by the Sheboygan Press, he got embarrassed because he needed to use the bathroom so badly, but there was a woman in there. He also said that when he pulled down his pants the woman reached for the knife he brought into the bathroom.

The 19-year-old is facing charges for carrying a concealed weapon and first degree sexual assault, which means he could face up to 40 years in prison if convicted.

As of now it's unknown if he is still behind bars at the Sheboygan County Detention Center or if he was granted bail.
