Man, 25, stabbed at Dilworth Plaza after verbal dispute: police

PHILADELPHIA - A 25-year-old has been hospitalized after police say a stabbing occurred at Dilworth Plaza Monday.

At around 4:05 p.m. Philly police responded to a report of a stabbing at Dilworth Plaza. 

Upon arrival, officers found a 25-year-old victim suffering from a stab wound to the face.

Medics transported the victim to Jefferson Hospital where he is in stable condition. 

Police located the offender at the scene and he was taken into custody without incident. 

The victim told police the stabbing occurred during a verbal dispute when the offender pulled out a knife and stabbed him once in the face.

This investigation is ongoing.
