Man, 62, struck in hit-and-run collision in West Windsor, driver sought

Police are searching for a motorist who they say hit a 62-year-old man who was crossing the street on Thursday morning in West Windsor, New Jersey.

The incident took place on Clarksburg Road, right in front of West Windsor-Plainsboro High School. Police say another passerby noticed the victim injured on the pavement and alerted authorities.

The man was transported to Capital Health Regional Medical Center where he was treated for non-life threatening injuries.

Authorities describe the vehicle that fled the scene as a gray-colored Kia Soul. Police also noted that the vehicle in question may have a missing side-mirror or passenger side damage from the collision.

West Windsor Police have asked the public for assistance in their investigation. Anyone with information can submit a tip at 609-799-1222.
