Suspect sought in deadly Center City SEPTA platform shooting

Philadelphia police are searching for a man they believe is responsible for the fatal shooting of a man on a Center City SEPTA platform.

A suspect is in custody after a man was shot and killed at a Center City SEPTA platform this weekend, according to the Philadelphia Police Department.

Police say the 64-year-old man was shot in the head, should, hand and back underground at 19th and Market Streets around 2:15 p.m. Saturday. The man, identified as Kevin Fulton, later died at a local hospital.

Sources told FOX 29's Steve Keeley that a man wanted for the killing was captured at 8th and Market streets Monday morning. He was reportedly spotted at City Hall earlier in the day wearing the same clothes seen on surveillance footage from the shooting.

Officials said, after viewing surveillance video, it appeared the victim and the shooter were involved in a fight on the platform, The victim reportedly punched the shooter, then the shooter fired a weapon.

The suspect, identified as 33-year-old Terrance Tasby, was reportedly found with a gun when he was arrested. He has been charged with murder and other related charges.
