Man charged with stabbing woman in her car

A man is under arrest after police say he stabbed a woman in her car, while trying to rob and sexually assault her.

Warminster Township police say the victim reported being attacked at about 11pm Monday, in the 800 block of W. Street Road.

She said she'd just gotten into her car when the attacker opened the door, and tried to rob and sexually assault her at knifepoint.

She was able to escape into a nearby business and call police, but she'd been stabbed in her head and hands. She was treated and released from the hospital.

The suspect ran away, but officers searched the area with the Upper Moreland police K9 unit.

They found Angel Ramos, 47, and say witnesses identified him.

Ramos is charged with attempted robbery, aggravated and simple assault, sexual assault, terroristic threats, recklessly endangering another person and possession of an instrument of crime.

He's being held in lieu of $7.5 million bail.
