NORTH PHILADELPHIA - Two people have been charged after a 22-year-old man was critically injured in a daytime time shooting on a North Philadelphia street.
The shooting happened Saturday afternoon, around 3:30, on the 2500 block of West Harold Street, according to authorities.
Police responded to the scene and found the victim lying in the street, suffering from a gunshot wound to the back. They rushed him to Temple University Hospital where he was placed in critical condition.

Shortly after the shooting, officials say two men reported to police headquarters to be interviewed, and hand over their lawfully registered firearms.
Arnold Carter, 22, of Philadelphia and Mustafa Harris, 23, of Delaware County, were both charged with aggravated assault, possession of an instrument of crime and related offenses.
Police have yet to release what led to the shooting, and an investigation is still active.
