Man fatally shot in Kensington; 2 people in custody: police
PHILADELPHIA - A man is dead and two people are in custody after police say a shooting happened in Kensington Monday night.
At around 9:20 p.m., police say the shooting incident occurred on the 700 block of East Willard Street.
The victim, a John Doe, who police described as a Black male around 20 years old, was shot once in the chest.
He was taken to Temple Hospital by police where he was pronounced dead at 9:41 p.m.
Police say one firearm was recovered at the scene, and two individuals are in custody for further investigation.
