PHILADELPHIA - An early morning crash claimed the life of a man, and left a trail of destruction in its wake along Broad Street in North Philadelphia.
Police say a speeding Dodge Charger lost control when it crashed into an unattended parked vehicle, and mounted the curb hitting a street sign and light pole.
The car then flipped, coming to a stop after crashing into a tree.
Responding officers found the driver, identified as 34-year-old Harold Obdule Jones, dead at the scene after being ejected from his vehicle.

Broad Street was closed for about two hours as crews investigated and cleared the scene, but has since reopened. The deadly crash remains under investigation.
