Man gets 20 years for Facebook stalking, extorting women for nude photos
WASHINGTON TOWNSHIP, N.J. - A New Jersey man accused of stalking girls on Facebook and threatening them if they didn't send him nude photos of themselves has been sentenced to 20 years in prison.
Twenty-seven-year-old Brandon McIntyre was sentenced Friday on convictions last year on child pornography, extortion, stalking and other charges.
Prosecutors said the resident of Warren County's Washington Township would sometimes use his own name in the chats and sometimes posed as a teenage girl.
Authorities accused him of threats to relatives of the girls and of telling one girl he was a state trooper and would arrest her family. At least two of the girls lived outside New Jersey.
McIntyre was arrested on the charges in 2014. Authorities said his sentence includes lifetime supervision after his release from prison.
