PHILADELPHIA - A man is in the hospital fighting for his life after he was shot by the person he was trying to rob, police say.
According to authorities, a man was shot on the 3900 block of Coral Street in Philadelphia's Frankford section just before 5:30 a.m. on Friday.

Police say the suspect, who is believed to be in his mid-30s, was shot in the chest and grazed in the leg by a 31-year-old man with a license to carry.
According to officials, the suspect then ran to Frankford and Wheatsheaf Lane, where police located him and took him to Temple University Hospital.
The suspect remains in extremely critical condition, per police.
Authorities say the victim who shot the suspect is cooperating with police during the investigation.
