Over 30 shots fired in Philadelphia quadruple shooting that killed 2, police say

Two 36-year-old men were killed in a quadruple shooting that erupted Thursday night in Philadelphia. Another victim was brought to the hospital in critical condition and a fourth man suffered non-fatal gunshot wounds to the legs. It's unknown what sparked the deadly gunfire.

Authorities say two men were killed in a quadruple shooting Thursday night in Philadelphia's Point Breeze section.

Officers from the Philadelphia Police Department were called to the 1200 block of South Bucknell Street just after 9 p.m. for reports of gunfire.

A 36-year-old man, identified as Raheem Hargust,  was shot over a dozen times and pronounced dead, according to authorities. A second 36-year-old victim, identified as Vincent Jackson, succumbed to his gunshot wounds at a local hospital.

Police say a 28-year-old man was shot multiple times and taken to a nearby hospital in critical condition. A fourth victim, age 26, suffered three non-fatal gunshot wounds to the legs.

Investigators believe over two dozen shots were fired when a silver Chevy Impala pulled up to a group of men standing on the roadside and opened fire.

It's believed that at least one of the victims also had a gun at the time of the shooting.
