Man rescued after spotted clinging to tree in LA River
LOS ANGELES - Firefighters rescued a man from the Los Angeles River Wednesday morning.
The Los Angeles Fire Department says the man was spotted clinging to a tree. Several crew members successfully got the man onto a small boat and brought him to shore. The victim is being evaluated by paramedics.
Heavy rain caused water levels to rise significantly in the river.
