Man shot, injured during carjacking in Feltonville, police say
A man was injured when a carjacker shot him in Feltonville, police say. FOX 29's Steve Keeley has the details.
PHILADELPHIA - A Good Samaritan's act of kindness took a violent turn when police say the men who appeared to need help suddenly shot him, then stole his car Tuesday night.
Officers responded to the 400 block of West Roosevelt Boulevard around 11 p.m. for reports of gunshots to find a 43-year-old man with a single gunshot wound to the back.
Police say the victim had pulled over to help two men who seemed to need help on the side of the road when they approached him with gun.

The 43-year-old told authorities he was in his white Mercedes SUV when two men got in, struggled with him, shot him in the back, pulled him out of the car and then took off.
Police say the men fled north in the stolen vehicle on the 400 block of Roosevelt Boulevard.
The victim was transported to a local hospital, where he is said to be in stable condition, conscious and moving,
Philadelphia police says the incident is being investigated as a robbery, carjacking and shooting at this time.
