Man sought after attempted robbery in North Philadelphia

NORTH PHILADELPHIA (WTXF) - Police are searching for a man involved in an attempted robbery in North Philadelphia.

The suspect was reportedly found attempting to rob an apartment located on the 2600 block of Brown Street on May 8.

Police say the resident of the apartment found the suspect inside his home holding his book bag. When the suspect was caught, he dropped the bag and fled in an unknown direction.

Police describe the man as an early 30-year-old with a beard and tattoos on both arms.

If seen, police urge anyone with information to call police immediately.
