Man, woman shot multiple times, killed in North Philly apartment: officials

NORTH PHILADELPHIA - A tragedy in a North Philadelphia apartment after two people were found shot to death.

The deadly incident happened Thursday afternoon, around 3 p.m., on the 1800 block of West Diamond Street, officials said.

First responders arrived and found a man and woman had been fatally shot inside an apartment building. Officials said the pair were each shot multiple times.

According to authorities, no weapons were found and an investigation into a motive for the tragic incident was underway.
