(INSIDE EDITION) - A married, Louisiana high school P.E. teacher has been charged for allegedly having sexual relations with three students.
Nicole Aymond, 45, was arrested on Wednesday and charged with three counts of prohibited sexual conduct, according to reports.
The investigation was reportedly launched after a called from a concerned parent.
Aymond, who also coaches basketball at Port Barre High School, then reportedly admitted to having sex with two male students and to sexual conduct with a third.
According to police, investigators found lewd and nude images of Aymond that she allegedly texted to a student's cell phone.
All three students involved are between 17 and 18 years old and 17 is the age of sexual consent, according to Louisiana law.
However, another Louisiana state law prohibits, "sexual relationships between educators and students if the student is under the age of 21 years old and a student at the facility the educator is employed."
A resident of Port Barre voiced her discontent with Aymond's actions.
"I just think it's horrible they ought to let her go and never let her go back to where there are kids," Irene Bergeron told KLFY.com "It upset us very much. We know of her and we know who she's married to and it just hurts us to think she could even do something like that."
