Methacton High School lockdown lifted threat discovered in bathroom stall

Methacton High School has lifted a lockdown that went info effect Friday after a written threat was found inside the school.

According to a statement, at 10:45 a.m., Methacton High School administration became aware of a threat written on a bathroom stall.

Administration began an immediate investigation, and Lower Providence and PA State police were notified.

A shelter in place was implemented at 11:15 a.m. to maintain student safety and conduct the investigation.
