Model with Down syndrome ready to walk the runway at New York Fashion Week

(FOX NEWS INSIDER) - 18-year-old Madeline Stuart is like many models - motivated, fierce and camera-friendly.

One difference between Maddy and other models, however, is that she has Down syndrome.

The aspiring - and inspiring - Australian model is set to walk in the FTL Moda show at New York Fashion Week this weekend, which will mark the second time she has modeled during the fashion event.

After struggling with her weight for years, Maddy decided last year to get healthy and chase her dreams.
