Multiple bear sightings reported in Delaware neighborhood: police

NEWARK, Del. - Police in one Delaware city are alerting residents of a bear roaming around the neighborhood.

Multiple sightings of a bear were reported in West Newark this weekend.

The sightings were reported near Julie Lane on Saturday.

On Sunday, University of Delaware police said there were no additional sightings, and the situation was considered "clear.:

Police are urging residents to use caution, and report any additional sightings.
