VICTORIA, Australia - A diver in Australia captured an affectionate moment underwater when a Maori octopus hugged her camera.
The heartwarming embrace took place on April 16.
Jules Casey recorded the footage, showing the octopus, who she had named Priscilla, embracing her camera near a pier in Rye, Victoria.
What they're saying:
"I have been checking on her for quite a few months, almost daily. She feels comfortable having me swim along side of her while she hunts for crabs," Casey told Storyful. "She will often reach out and explore my camera and give me cuddles."
