Off-duty crossing guard struck by truck while crossing South Phila. street
SOUTH PHILADELPHIA (WTXF) - An off-duty school crossing guard suffered a broken bone after being struck by a freight liner trunk in South Philadelphia.
The incident occurred at 3:48 p.m. on the 100 block of Snyder Avenue.
A 70-year-old black female was struck while crossing Snyder by the truck, while attempting to turn southbound onto Front Street.
The woman was taken to Hahnemann Hospital with a broken right femur. Condition unknown at this time.
No one was arrested.
