Official fund setup for fallen Wilmington firefighters

Wilmington, Del, (WTXF) - Lieutenant Chris Leach,41, and Senior Firefighter Jerry Fickes,51, were killed in in a rowhouse fire last weekend. Four other firefighters were injured in a blaze now alleged to be arson.

Funeral services for Lt. Christopher Leach were held Friday morning. A service for Jerry Fickes was held Thursday evening.

Leach, who joined the fire department in 2002, leaves behind three children - Brendan (16), Abby (14) Megan (12). Fickes was a Wilmington firefighter since 2003. He was married to Laura - his wife of 26 years - and leaves two boys, Benjamin (18) and Joshua (16).
