DOVER, Del. (AP) - Officials have significantly expanded a warning about possible restaurant-related Hepatitis A exposure in northern Delaware.
Officials said Thursday that employees and patrons of a Buffalo Wild Wings restaurant in Middletown may have been exposed to the virus between March 31 and April 10.
Late Friday, officials announced that people may also have been exposed to Hepatitis A at a Buffalo Wild Wings location in Bear from March 21 through Friday, and at the Stone Balloon Ale House in Newark from March 20 through April 3.
Citing "new information," they also said the possible exposure period at the Middletown Buffalo Wild Wings began March 28, three days earlier than first thought.
Hepatitis A is a viral infection of the liver spread through the feces of an infected person.
