Overnight fire destroys vacant rowhome

COBBS CREEK (WTXF) - An overnight fire destroyed a building in the Cobbs Creek section of the city.

FOX 29 News was on the scene at Cedar Avenue and S. 60th Street, where you can see the heavy damage.

Authorities say this was a vacant rowhome, and the fire was put under control at about 1:30am.

They also say it may have been started by squatters.

Also, there may be smoke damage to other nearby buildings, including a daycare.
