An investigation is underway after sources say a Pennsylvania State Trooper was injured in Bucks County Wednesday.

BENSALEM, Pa. - An investigation is underway after sources say a Pennsylvania State Trooper was injured in Bucks County Wednesday. 

Sources say the trooper was injured under the I-95 overpass on Bristol Pike.

A heavy law enforcement presence converged onto the scene.

A source with knowledge tells FOX 29 the trooper suffered a laceration to the face during a pursuit.

This is an ongoing investigation.
