TREDYFFRIN TOWNSHIP, Pa. (WTXF) - The Paoli Accessibility Project under construction has work advancing on the rail infrastructure, but now parking lot modifications are necessary for the next phase of work.
Starting Monday, July 31, additional permit and daily commuter spaces have been created in the Northwest Lot (Permit parking) across N. Valley Road, to prevent the loss of parking.
Accessible parking spaces will be re-located to the front of the station building and clearly marked.
Inside, construction barricades will be placed in the station building where work on the elevator, stair towers and new high level platform will begin.
Also, construction barricades will also require a portion of the inbound platform to be closed.
Inbound jitney passenger drop-offs will continue in the South Lot, and jitney pick-ups will occur in the Northwest Permit parking lot across N. Valley Road. The designated jitney area will be marked along with directional signage to the new pick up area.
SEPTA buses will be unaffected and will continue to use the South Lot.
