Pedestrian struck, killed on Route 73 in Maple Shade

Police say the victim was crossing Route 73 in Maple Shade when they were struck and killed just before midnight.

MAPLE SHADE, N.J. - One person is dead after an overnight crash on a highway in Burlington County.

Police say the victim was crossing Route 73 in Maple Shade when they were struck and killed just before midnight.

The driver of the striking vehicle remained on the scene, along with another vehicle.

Police have yet to identify the victim, and no charges have been announced.
