Pedestrian struck by hit-and-run driver in Fairhill

Investigators are searching for a red pickup truck.

PHILADELPHIA - A pedestrian was struck by a hit-and-run driver in North Philadlephia's Fairhill section.

The crash happened just before 1 a.m. on American Street and Lehigh Avenue.

The male victim may have been in the middle of the road when they were hit.

He taken to the hospital but his condition is unknown at this time.

Investigators are now searching for a red pickup truck.
