Person of interest sought in connection with sexual assault of child
New Castle County Police are asking for the public's help in the investigation of a child being sexually assaulted at a YMCA pool.
WILMINGTON, Del. - New Castle County Police are asking for the public's help in the investigation of a child being sexually assaulted at a YMCA pool.
The incident occurred on the 30th block of Chestnut Street and involved a child under the age of 12.
Police say a person of interest is being sought.

He was captured entering a building on surveillance footage.
The YMCA said it happened Thursday night at the Hanby Outdoor Center and pool complex.
In a statement, the YMCA of Delaware said:
"Our thoughts and prayers go out to the family and child affected. The safety and well-being of our members and the community remain our highest priority, and we are fully cooperating with authorities as they continue their search and investigation."
