BENSALEM, Pa. - A person of interest in a triple shooting Halloween night in Bensalem died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound following a police pursuit in Ohio, authorities said.
Police in Marysville, Ohio – located about 40 minutes northwest of Columbus – got a license plate reader alert about a stolen car that was linked to a homicide.
Police pursued the vehicle until the two occupants ditched the car and tried to flee on foot. It's believed the vehicle was stolen from Bristol Township, Pennsylvania.
Authorities say a passenger was arrested during the chase and the body of 19-year-old Sean Hughes was found in a nearby field with a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

Hughes, according to police, was identified as a person of interest in a deadly triple shooting that erupted during a fight outside a Bensalem shopping mall.
It's believed the shooter fired around a dozen shots into the crowd, killing 14-year-old Peter Romano and injuring a 17-year-old and 19-year-old.
Marysville Police Chief Tony Brooks said they are still investigating what brought him to Ohio and where he was staying.
A second man, identified as Joshua Marquez, was arrested Friday for a felony weapons charge. Police say he was a passenger during the police pursuit in Ohio, however it is unclear if he was connected to the Bensalem murder.
Vigil held for 14-year-old killed in Halloween night triple shooting in Bensalem
A vigil was held Thursday at a Bensalem shopping mall where a 14-year-old was killed when a fight escalated to gunfire on Halloween night.
Family and loved ones gathered outside the Bensalem shopping mall Thursday to hold a candlelight vigil for Peter.
"Nothing will ever change," Peter's father said. "There will never be closure in any of this, this will kill me for the rest of my life."
