Philadelphia School District Replaces Principal at GWHS

PHILADELPHIA (WTXF) - The Philadelphia school system has stepped in after a recent wave of violence at George Washington High School.

The school district says they needed to "reset the climate" there, which meant replacing the principal.

The announcement came just hours after students attacked a teacher in one of the classrooms.

They reassigned him, and replaced him with two new co-principals.
