(WTXF/STORYFUL) - A dog who has become known as the "saddest dog in the world" after she was returned to a rescue organization has found a new home.
Lana was first rescued after being found as a small puppy.
However, according to Storyful, she was returned to the boarding kennels after an unsuccessful adoption.

Now, a photo of the depressed dog, which was posted to the Facebook pages of Rescue Dogs Match and Mighty Mutts, has encouraged a foster home to open their doors to Lana.
When Lana was taken back to the rescue, they wrote that she wasn't doing very well. Then, the widespread sharing of her story resulted in her finding a new temporary home away from the kennels, until she can find a forever family.
The original photo of Lana was shared on October 24, and an update with a much happier photo attached was posted to Facebook on November 2.
