FREEHOLD, N.J. (WTXF) - Monmouth County SPCA has posted on their Facebook page about River, the pit bull puppy left to drown in a cage at the water's edge during a rising tide in Freehold, NJ.
In the post, the SPCA shared they have found a "suitable foster home to keep River safe and comfortable as he awaits his official adoption date."
The Young pit bull was neutered by the Monmouth County SPCA medical team and will undergo an assessment process to find his forever home.
