PHILADELPHIA - Twelve people became the victims of gun violence after police say at least six shootings rang out across Philadelphia in just one night.
Police say they found two people suffering from gunshots when they arrived on the scene on the 2600 block of North Bouvier Street around 10:30 p.m. Friday.
A 19-year-old died from multiple gunshot wounds to the body, while a pregnant woman in her 20s is in critical condition after being shot multiple times in the head. The teen was later identified as Samuel Goodman.
The double shooting comes just hours after at least 10 others were struck by gunfire ahead of the weekend.

The violence began around 5 p.m. when police say three people, including a 75-year-old man, were injured in a shooting that erupted in North Philadelphia.
Just 15 minutes later, a man in his mid 20s is in critical condition after he was reportedly shot in the head inside a vehicle in Philadelphia’s Ogontz section
Authorities say four people were then injured during a drive-by shooting in Philadelphia's Wissinoming neighborhood around 7:30 p.m.
Around midnight, police say two men were struck by gunfire in two separate shootings. A 29-year-old man was shot in the hip and struck over the head with a gun on the 3000 block of B Street. He is reportedly in stable condition, along with a 37-year-old who police say was shot in ankle on the 4700 block of Leiper Street.
No arrests have been made in Friday night's shootings.
